Ted Mondzelewski, Jr, AIA . Senior Partner

Ted Mondzelewski, Jr. AIA is a Senior Partner for Architectural Concepts PC a full-service architecture and interior design firm headquartered in Exton, PA. He has served as Senior Partner for thirty years.

Ted’s impressive roster of professional affiliations includes The American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He has served on the Chester County Development Council Board of Directors, the Brandywine Hospital Foundation Board, the Western Main Line YMCA Board of Directors, the Westtown Township Planning Commission, and the Board Chairman of the Art Partners Studio in Coatesville. In addition, Ted served as President of the USA/USSR Baseball Exchange Inc. and Suburban Business Network, and he has been involved with West Chester Regional Planning Commission, and as Board Member for Chester Springs Studio. Ted remains actively involved with the Central Chester County Rotary Club where he served as President in 2001/2002.

Ted’s academic affiliations include The Ohio State University’s Alumni Association, Varsity Baseball and Football Alumni Association. He has served on the Immaculata College Real Estate Advisory Board and he has also been a visiting lecturer at Pennsylvania State University (State College, Pa.) and The Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio).

Ted’s extensive experience spans virtually every area of architecture, and his projects include gaming, hospitality, institutional, medical, corporate, industrial, retail, and non-profit facilities. Notable projects include: The Casino at Philadelphia Park in Bensalem, Pa., The Turf Clubs for Philadelphia Park which have won national recognition as The Pennsylvania Model throughout Pa., 300 Four Falls Corporate Center in West Conshohocken, Pa., Jones Apparel Group Regional Distribution Center in South Hill, Va., the H. Chase and Ana Maria Lenfest Center in Philadelphia, Pa., and The Nazareth Academy Performing Arts Center in Philadelphia, Pa.

Prior to joining the firm, he held positions with Garner & White in Bala Cynwyd, Pa., Steel/Weston Partnership in West Chester, Pa., Ewing Cole in Philadelphia, Hassinger Schwann & White in Germantown, Pa., John G. Reutter Associates in Camden, NJ., and National Industrial Builders in West Conshohocken, Pa. Before that, he earned a Bachelors of Science degree from The Ohio State University, (Columbus, Ohio), and has participated in advanced management classes at the Graduate School of Design of Harvard University (Cambridge, Mass.)

Ted is a registered architect in many states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, Washington D.C., Tennessee, Virginia, Ohio, Texas, Connecticut, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, Indiana, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Maryland. In addition, he is NCARB Certified.
